Located in the heart of the Poconos, within 30 minutes to many attractions such as, Tobyhanna State Park, Promise Land State Park, Lake Wallenpaupack, Crossings Outlets at Tannersville, Camelback, Mount Airy Casino, Stroudsburg, Restaurants, Shopping and MORE!
You will love waking up each day to enjoy the amazing lake view and frequent visits from our wildlife friends. The ducks and geese love to come for bread and other treats, you will also see the deer family, many species of birds and the rare occasion of bears. We provide all the amenities from home so your vacation is simple to plan and easy to enjoy. We even provide firewood! The basement game room offers fun for kids and adults of all ages! We have created a warm, inviting and peaceful place to relax. We know you will have a special time at our home and hope we can be your hosts!
The Longfellow Lodge can accommodate sleeping areas for 12 adults or 14 maximum including children, making it perfect for large families, friends or small groups. Each bedroom has a smart flat-screen television, stand-up fan and luggage rack. We also provide a highchair, 4 Pack-n-Plays and crib mattress for those traveling with infants or toddlers.
Entry Level
The first floor features spectacular panoramic views of the lake. The open living and dining room has 20 foot vaulted ceilings, a wood burning fireplace (wood provided), 85 inch Smart TV so you can stream all the latest shows and movies and bluetooth BOSE speaker and 2 large ceiling fans. Dining room has seating for 14 and a high chair. The kitchen has all the items you needed including a coffee pot, Keurig, microwave, baking items, blender, toaster, crock pot and more! There is one full bathroom and one bedroom with a queen bed, 32 inch Roku Smart TV and Ceiling Fan. Access to the deck from the dining and living room. Deck features BBQ and patio table and chairs and view of the lake.
The house will be decorated with holiday decor including a 12 foot Christmas tree from Mid-November to Mid-January
Second Level
Second floor includes 4 bedrooms and one full bathroom. Bedroom 2 has queen size bed, full size futon and 32 inch Roku Smart TV. Bedroom 3 has a queen size bed and 24 inch Roku Smart TV. Bedroom 4 has a queen size bed, 32 inch Roku Smart TV and vaulted ceilings. Bedroom 5 has twin/twin bunk beds and twin/full bunk beds and 32 inch Roku Smart TV. During summer months we provide window AC units for each bedroom.
Lower Level Basement
Lower level has a Laundry Room and TV area with 55 in smart TV, PS3 or bring your own system and couch with queen sleeper sofa and gas fireplace. Enjoy tournaments and time spent in the large game room with a Pool Table, Air Hockey Table, Bubble Hockey, Duel Mini-Basketball Game, Star Wars Pinball, Outrun Driving Game, Golden Tee Game + Bowling, Jumbo Connect 4, and Multi Arcade Game with 48 games including Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Centipede, Frogger, Pinball & More. Also provided are various board games.
The Outdoors
Walk-out access from the basement to the back yard where you can fully enjoy the outdoors with a 6 person Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Private Beach, Gas Grill, Picnic Table and Scenic Views of the Lake. There is a dock for fishing and and you can explore lake on any of our boats. Choose from two 15 ft 3-seater canoes, two kayaks, one tandem kayak, and two stand-up paddles boards.
Access and Waiver: Reservations from April to October (weather permitting) include the use of the watercrafts. All persons residing in the property must sign the waiver. This includes all children and those not using the watercrafts. This is required by our insurance company to offer this to our guests.

Waivers are also provided at the home to sign. Completed from can be emailed or text a photo to the owner.
You may also rent additional Kayaks and Paddle Boards from Kayak East or Pocono Kayak & Paddleboard. The deliver and pick up from the house.
Linen Service
Linens and Towels are included with your stay. des linens for all beds, bath and pool towels and laundry service.
Rental Policies
We are a family friendly home. Parents or other individuals are not permitted to reserve the house on behalf of another person or group. The person making the reservation must be at least 30 years of age and must personally occupy the property for the entire rental period. We do not accept reservations from young adults under 30 years of age or if a majority of the group is under the age of 30.
When you make a reservation, you will be required to sign a lease agreement, provide a copy of your photo ID and register all guests and vehicles. Amenity badges are required to use any public amenities. Amenity badges can be purchased at the Main Administration Building when you check-in or during your stay. $12.00 per day per person ages 3 and older. (Prices are subject to change)
Contract: A Pocono County Place requires each reservation to be registered at the community. All reservations must complete and sign our lease agreement and submit a copy of a valid government issued ID. The person completing the contract must be at the property during your stay.
